14+ years keeping systems running — from university datacenters to compliance infrastructure, from Brazil to Portugal.
I started in 2011 in the IT core of a federal university in Brazil, building and running the platforms the institution depends on. The next decade was public-sector infrastructure: Kubernetes clusters, a VMware fleet, firewalls and VPNs, and the monitoring that catches problems before people do. In 2022 I moved to Lisbon to do DevOps for a communications-compliance platform used by regulated banks — infrastructure where every change has to survive an audit.
Deployed Kubernetes clusters with Rancher and CI/CD pipelines at a Brazilian state audit court — containerized deploys in an institution where change is hard.
Built and ran monitoring across hosts and network — so problems surfaced before tickets did.
Replaced a legacy VoIP appliance with Asterisk and automated extension provisioning end to end.
DevOps for Shield's communications-compliance platform (DCGA), used by regulated financial institutions — where audit trails are not optional.
Infrastructure & backend for a compliance/archiving platform for regulated finance (Series B; investors incl. UBS).
Kubernetes/Rancher, a VMware fleet, firewalls & VPN, bash/PowerShell automation, and the monitoring stack.
Custom Drupal/PHP modules, institutional platforms (LimeSurvey, osTicket, Kaltura), VM operations.

Seven RKE2 nodes — Ceph on 7TB of NVMe, Prometheus/Grafana, private apps and a full media stack — plus 34TB of bulk storage, OPNsense routing with BGP on AS213367, and Bacula backups that end on actual tape.
